Christopher Miller, a retired U.S. Army officer and former acting secretary at the Department of Defense, has been named interim chief revenue officer at autonomous systems maker DZYNE Technologies.
He will work closely with the company’s leadership team to accelerate government market growth initiatives and identify international partnership opportunities for its technology, DZYNE said Wednesday.
Miller led the DOD on an acting basis from Nov. 9, 2020, to Jan. 20, 2021.
His prior stints in the government included director at the National Counterterrorism Center, deputy assistant secretary for special operations and combating terrorism at the Pentagon, and special assistant to the president and senior director for counterterrorism and transnational threats at the National Security Council.
The former Army Special Forces officer has served on DZYNE’s board of directors since it became a portfolio company of Highlander Partners, a private investment firm, in January.
