The Oasis Systems-ERC combination has officially adopted the name Astrion with a focus on helping defense, space and civilian government agencies address cybersecurity, mission support, systems engineering and digital challenges.
In May 2022, private equity firm Brightstar Capital Partners combined its portfolio company ERC with Oasis to offer complementary service offerings for federal and defense agencies.
Dave Zolet, a three-decade government technology industry veteran and a four-time Wash100 awardee, will oversee Astrion as CEO, the company said Tuesday.
âAstrion is a launchpad for bolder, inventive solutions using our unique legacy of experience, innovation and determination to advance our customersâ missions, help them see the unseen, and address tomorrow’s challenges with agility, creativity and shared vision,â said Zolet.
In January, Zolet was named chief executive at Oasis Technology & Engineering, a Brightstar Capital portfolio company.
He previously served as CEO at CentralSquare Technologies and LMI and held leadership positions at DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).
Astrion will operate with over 2,800 employees supporting customers across the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, space and civilian agencies. The company has centers of excellence in Washington, D.C., Burlington, Massachusetts and Huntsville, Alabama.
