The Federal Resources Supply Company received a $134 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency, awarded in partnership with FEMA and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
The scope of this contract includes the supply of eye protection, gloves, gowns, and masks to healthcare workers in approximately 15,000 nursing homes. All together, this kit requires the following quantities of the following products:
- Eyewear: 1.2 million goggles
- Gloves: 64.4 million pairs
- Gowns: 12.8 million
- Masks: 13.8 million
The agreed-upon rate of production may change plans for distribution. Logistics may also vary based on the availability of transportation.
