AIS Wins $300M Air Force Contract for Virtual Network, Remote Access Tech Support

Assured Information Security has won a potential 10-year, $300 million contract to provide software, hardware and reports for virtualization and remote access.

The Department of Defense said Friday the Air Force Research Laboratory launched a competitive acquisition process and received three bids for the Engineering for Virtualized Enterprise and Remote Access Technology, or EVEREST, program.

AFRL will obligate $1.75 million in operation and maintenance funds for fiscal year 2024 and expects work to occur in Rome, New York, through Jan. 23, 2035.

What Is the EVEREST Contract’s Scope?

According to a solicitation released in January 2024, the contract covers research, development, prototyping integration, testing, demonstration, deployment, upgrades, enhancement, sustainment and training of innovative technologies and concepts in support of EVEREST projects.

The selected vendor will research, develop, sustain and deploy SecureView baseline and next-generation capabilities for access, infrastructure, transfer, cloud and storage for the operational community.

SecureView is a Multiple Independent Levels of Security system designed to meet the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s multiple levels of security workstation requirement. It represents the current standard for multilevel access for the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community and other U.S. government agencies.
