The Army has obligated $31.8 million at the time of award and the one-year base period of performance for the Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor sustainment program runs through December 2016, Lockheed said Wednesday.
M-TADS/PNVS works to help Apache pilots track and engage potential targets from a long range in daytime or nighttime missions or during extreme weather conditions.
Lockheed said it has supplied more than 1, 350 units and spares of its M-TADS/PNVS technology to U.S. and international defense customers.
