Data Machines Announces Goforth Scientific Acquisition

Data Machines has acquired Goforth Scientific to strengthen its commitment to delivering innovative platforms to the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.

In a statement published Tuesday, Data Machines CEO Matt Quinn said the acquisition marks a pivotal step in the company’s growth strategy.

“By uniting our capabilities, we are better equipped to provide innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of DoD and IC missions. Goforth’s expertise in geospatial intelligence and data science perfectly complements our mission to deliver excellence in technology and service,” Quinn added.

Data Machines expects the transaction to broaden its technical capabilities and improve its ability to support federal customers by expanding offerings in advanced analytics, operational insights and geospatial intelligence.

Reston, Virginia-based Data Machines provides data engineering, cloud automation and mission-focused platforms for defense, intelligence and federal agencies.

Established in 2003, the Herndon, Virginia-based software development firm supports federal clients and their missions through custom cloud-based software, advanced data science and geospatial intelligence offerings.
