IT consulting firm Trace3 has acquired Zivaro for an undisclosed sum as part of a push to expand its government, public sector and critical infrastructure capabilities.
Trace3 said Thursday the transaction will create a new business vertical called Trace3 Government and that it expects full integration to occur in the second quarter of 2025.
The acquired company will operate as Zivaro, a Trace Company, in the near term.
“The joint value our clients will receive from Trace3’s integration of Zivaro promises to be significant,” said Trace3 CEO Rich Fennessy. “Integrating Zivaro’s public sector and critical infrastructure expertise into the Trace3 portfolio of end-to-end solutions will drive true business transformation for both Trace3 and Zivaro clients, as well as our collective partners.”
Public Sector-Focused Tech Company
Denver-based Zivaro is a technology platforms provider focused on the government and public sector. The company’s government critical infrastructure capabilities include software engineering, managed hybrid cloud, platform system integration, application modernization, public sector system integration and managed security information and event management, or SIEM.
Tom De Angelis, chief revenue officer at Zivaro, expressed excitement about being part of Trace3.
“Our acquisition by Trace3 enables our combined companies to leverage collective engineering, sales, and functional capabilities to create new opportunities for team members, improve technology strategy for our clients, and deliver greater value to our partners,” he added.
Zivaro as Trace3’s 2nd Acquisition
The transaction marks Trace3’s second acquisition in 2024. In January, the business transformation consultancy purchased Tail Wind Informatics to expand its data and analytics business.
Trace3 provides consulting support, operates and integrates convergent platforms across data, security and cloud to drive business value for clients.
