The Department of the Navy has started soliciting industry comments on its draft request for proposal for the procurement of Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test and Evaluation, or AARTD and E, support services.
AARTD and E Contract Scope
According to the notice posted on SAM.gov Tuesday, the draft RFP details support services for performing research and development, management, design, documentation, fabrication, installation, integration, test, evaluation, operation and maintenance for the Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test, or IBST.
The same services will also be provided to associated AARDT and E capabilities, laboratories and facilities supporting NAVAIR and other Department of Defense programs, as well as those of partner nations.
The potential contractor reserves the right to decline single-item orders above $1,000 and any order for multiple items worth more than $1 million.
Interested parties may respond with their draft RFP until Dec. 17.
