Amazon Web Services will provide the U.S. Army with cloud computer and storage services under a recently awarded four-year, $158.3 million firm-fixed-price contract.
The Department of Defense said Monday services will be performed until Sept. 21, 2028, with work locations and funding depending on the award of each order.
Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois-based Army Contracting Command serves as the contracting activity and received one bid for the contract through an online solicitation.
In June, AWS was also awarded a $114.5 million contract to deliver cloud services at Impact Level 6 to the Army Enterprise Cloud Management Agency.
ECMA, under the Cloud Account Management Optimization other transaction agreement, provides continued IL6 cloud computing and storage services to 32 existing applications and customers.
