Unanet has bought GovPro AI for an undisclosed sum to add the latter’s artificial intelligence platform to its product portfolio to help government contracting companies and architecture, engineering and construction firms automate proposal writing.

Unanet said Friday GovPro AI’s technology could help GovCon firms improve their business development processes, speed up the decision-making and win new contracts by reducing the average time spent on developing draft proposals by 70 percent and cutting proposal generation costs by about 50 percent.
GovPro AI is a Washington, D.C.-based company founded by Alexander Cohen and leverages generative AI technology to help GovCon companies respond to requests for proposals within hours.

In 2025, Unanet intends to bring GovPro AI’s tech platform to the AEC market.

Steve Karp, chief innovation officer of Unanet, said the company will invest in GovPro AI’s technology to enable it to meet the evolving needs of customers.

Providing ERP, CRM Tools to Government Contractors
Unanet provides project-based enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management tools for GovCon, AEC and professional services firms.
Through its ERP and CRM platforms, the Dulles, Virginia-based company helps more than 4,000 organizations glean actionable insights from information, maintain regulatory compliance and drive decision-making and business growth.
With the acquisition, Unanet customers now have access to a package of Unanet CRM, GovPro AI platform and other business development tools designed for AI-powered proposal generation, pipeline management, opportunity identification and assessment and relationship management.
