TRANSCOM Awards $4B in International Charter Airlift Services Contract

Thirty companies were awarded spots on a potential $4 billion contract from the U.S. Transportation Command for international charter airlift services.

The Department of Defense said Tuesday work under the International Charter Airlift Services in Support of the Civil Reserve Air Fleet contract will be performed across the globe and will run through Sept. 30, 2026.

The awardees of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, fixed-price contract are:

  • Hawaiian Airlines 
  • JetBlue Airways 
  • Kalitta Air 
  • Lynden Air Cargo 
  • National Air Cargo 
  • Northern Air Cargo 
  • Omni Air International 
  • Patriot Team Polar

Transcom’s Directorate of Acquisition manages the contract and will use fiscal 2025 working capital funds for the effort.

In January, the command also announced 20 contractors on a potential $873 million IDIQ for domestic air cargo and passenger charter services.
