Jack Wise, a contracting professional with more than 35 years of extensive experience in acquisition services, was named senior vice president of business development lifecycle at Koniag Government Services.
The Alaska Native Corporation said Monday Wise will be responsible for driving business development efforts and providing advice on business development, contracting and compliance issues, as well as pre- and post-award contract negotiations.
He will also help ensure that KGS’ business growth strategies are executed.
Wise previously served as director of the General Services Administration’s Office of Assisted Acquisition Services Region 3 (Mid-Atlantic). He was responsible for managing a customer portfolio of contracts with a cumulative ceiling of $6.3 billion.
His career also includes time working at the Defense Logistics Agency and Naval Regional Contracting Center.
“[Wise’s] deep knowledge of federal acquisitions and his reputation for building strong government partnerships align perfectly with KGS’ strategic vision,” remarked KGS CEO Kevin Wideman. “Jack will be instrumental in driving our growth initiatives and helping us expand our reach within key federal markets.”
KGS is comprised of multiple wholly owned subsidiary companies that deliver enterprise offerings, professional services and operations management to federal government agencies.
