She will have oversight of SentinelOne’s FP&A, accounting, tax and treasury, investor relations and internal audit as well as other global financial operations, the company said Wednesday.
Larson brings to SentinelOne over 10 years of experience serving at Workday, where she held a number of roles including vice president of business finance, senior VP of accounting, tax and security and chief financial officer.
The finance executive also served in leadership roles at VMware, TIBCO Software and Symantec.
“Barbara’s proven track record of scaling global SaaS companies aligns perfectly with our long-term growth plans,” said Tomer Weingarten, CEO of SentinelOne. “We are thrilled to welcome her to our leadership team at a time when we are optimally positioned to deliver what enterprises need most: world-leading AI-powered security and resilient cyber-defense.”
Larson will succeed Dave Bernhardt, who will remain with SentinelOne as an adviser through the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.
