Boeing has secured a U.S. Navy delivery order with a ceiling amount of $248.1 million to repair the landing gear on the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet aircraft.
The Department of Defense said Wednesday the award was made under a previous basic ordering agreement for the sole-source requirement.
Boeing will perform work in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada; St. Louis, Missouri; Fort Walton Beach, Florida; Ajax, Ontario, Canada; San Diego, California; and other locations until May 2028.
The Navy will obligate $121.6 million from its annual working capital funds at the time of award. Naval Supply Systems Command’s weapon systems support unit serves as the contracting activity.
In September 2023, the contractor was awarded a three-year, $173.6 million delivery order from the Navy for the same repair services in support of the jets’ landing gears.
