Science Applications International Corp. (Nasdaq: SAIC) has received a potential five-year, $120 million contract from the U.S. Navy to continue providing support services for the Tactical Training Group Pacific’s fleet training mission.
SAIC said Tuesday the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract awarded by Naval Supply Systems Command includes professional technical services for live virtual constructive and fleet synthetic training war game development and execution and subject matter expert classroom instruction in wargaming doctrine and tactics, techniques procedures.
Under the contract, the company supports TTGP, Carrier Strike Group 15, Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific and Tactical Training Group Pacific, Yokosuka and their mission to provide tactical training for Navy personnel to help enhance their proficiency in warfighting and joint operations.
“This contract reinforces SAIC’s reputation for providing the mission-critical training to the U.S. Navy since 1992,” said Barbara Supplee, executive vice president of the Navy business group at SAIC.
“We are fully committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of the support we provide to ensure that the Navy’s training needs are reliably and efficiently met,” added Supplee.
