Former E-Gov Office Administrator Mark Forman Named Chief Strategy Officer of Technology Company Amida

Amida Technology Solutions has appointed Mark Forman as chief strategy officer.

The software and technology services company said Thursday that Forman brings to the role over three decades of professional experience gained from developing and leading IT services teams in multiple private sector organizations like IBM (NYSE: IBM) and SAIC (NASDAQ: SAIC), as well as from having served as administrator for the Office of E-Government and IT at the Office of Management and Budget.

In that latter role, now known as the federal chief information officer, Forman led the CIO Council, created the E-Government Strategy and oversaw federal IT spending.

Amida co-founder and CEO Peter Levin expressed excitement about Forman’s appointment, saying, “His notable contributions to modernizing government operations and improving customer service will be essential as we strive for growth and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients.”
