Dataminr has appointed Matthew Harrell as its new chief partner officer, who brings to the position more than 25 years of sales and channel leadership experience.
The New York-headquartered artificial intelligence company said Tuesday that in his new role, Harrell will work to grow the global Dataminr partner ecosystem, which currently includes various companies like Amazon Web Services, Carahsoft, Google and Microsoft.
Harrell joined Dataminr from Cloudflare, where he held the position of global head of channels and alliances. He had also been part of Google, where his roles included heading mid market sales and channels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as heading the Americas channels.
Commenting on the new appointment, Ted Bailey, founder and CEO of Dataminr, said, “[Harrell] is an extremely valuable asset and exactly the right fit to help scale our customer base by bringing our AI platform and products to market through new and unique routes.”
For his part, Harrell said, “There is an opportunity to bolster our partner strategy to fully leverage our industry-leading AI platform to help partners bring unique applications, solutions and services to their customers that combine the power of Dataminr’s predictive and generative AI to achieve far better outcomes. Behind this remarkable growth opportunity is a powerful mission of helping keep people, communities and assets safe, which is one of the central reasons I am thrilled to join the team at Dataminr.”
