U.S. Transportation Command has awarded 25 companies spots on a fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with an estimated cumulative face value of $750 million.
The contract seeks to provide commercial port operations and related transportation services, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The deal covers international ocean transportation as well as intermodal, time definite, port-to-port and door-to-door transportation service, which will be provided at locations outside the continental U.S.
The period of performance begins this September and ends on Aug. 31, 2025.
