A Chugach Government Solutions subsidiary has won a potential seven-year, $188.3 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide base operation support services for a military installation in Alabama.
The Department of Defense said Thursday the service branch received six offers for the firm-fixed-price contract, which has a base amount of $169.5 million and cost reimbursable contract line item numbers valued at $18.8 million.
Chugach Logistics and Facility Services JV will perform work at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base in Alabama through June 5, 2031.
The vendor will provide personnel, equipment, materials, tools, supplies and supervision required to accomplish a range of BOS services and meet all responsibilities and requirements in the performance work statement across 16 functional areas.
Those functional areas include maintenance, resource management, communications and information technology, operations management, emergency management, installation engineering, human resources and airfield management services.
The 338th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph in Texas is the contracting activity and is obligating $134,138 in operations and maintenance funds for fiscal year 2024.
