NASA Issues RFI for Potential $1B Multiple Award Construction Contract III

NASA has begun soliciting information on potential vendors and their capabilities to help inform the requirements for the third iteration of the potential $1 billion Multiple Award Construction Contract.

MACC-III is a regionalized indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that will provide general construction and design-build support services for NASA’s Stennis Space Center, Johnson Space Center, Kennedy Space Center and Marshall Space Flight Center, according to a sources sought notice published Thursday.

The space agency considers unrestricted and small business tracks for the MACC-III procurement effort.

Contract work may include architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil, structural, roofing, building renovations, new building construction, demolition, U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or LEED projects and design-build projects.

Capability statements, questions and other feedback are due June 30.

In 2017, the space agency awarded 24 spots on the $3 billion MACC-II contract.
