Chenega‘s base and logistics services business has secured a $110 million hybrid contract from the U.S. Army for base operations support services over a five-year period of performance.
The Department of Defense said San Antonio, Texas-based Chenega Base & Logistics Services was selected through a 413th Contracting Support Brigade-led online solicitation, which gathered three proposals.
The contractor will perform work at locations that will be determined with each order under the firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials contract. Base operations support services will be provided until July 15, 2029.
In 2023, CBLS also won two Army contracts worth $220 million combined for base operations support services for Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska and surrounding training areas. Work under both awards is expected to run through June 2028.
CBLS offers a range of facility support, logistics services and humanitarian support services, including operations and maintenance, base operations, preventive maintenance services, logistics support services and delivery of human services.
