CGI Federal has secured a two-year, $378.1 million contract from the State Department to provide the Bureau of Consular Affairs with passport application processing services.
The company will provide onsite administration, management and processing support at three passport centers and 24 passport agencies across the U.S., according to an award notice posted on the Federal Procurement Data System.
The State Department expects work under the renewed contract to conclude on May 9, 2026.
CGI Federal was awarded a potential five-year, $900 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help produce more than 20 million passports and travel cards in 2017.
The company has managed the passport production support services contract for the State Department’s book personalization facilities since 2006 and has provided passport application processing support services since 1992.
