Accenture Federal Services has agreed to purchase federal digital transformation and cloud modernization platforms provider Cognosante for an undisclosed sum.
Since 2008, Cognosante has been providing cloud migration support, program management and technology platforms for federal health care programs supporting veterans, active-duty personnel, providers and other beneficiaries, Accenture said Monday.
Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal arm now has more than 14,000 employees and is expected to integrate Cognosante’s over 1,500 personnel through the acquisition, which is subject to regulatory assessment and other customary closing conditions.
