The General Services Administration has released a solicitation for the potential five-year, $1.8 billion Personnel and Readiness Infrastructure Support Management contract that seeks to provide enterprise platforms and professional services to improve capabilities that will enable soldiers and strategic partners to enhance readiness and meet mission requirements.PRISM is a multiple award task order contract designed to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, its directorates and strategic mission partners by providing services meant to meet the demands associated with a global threat and security environment, according to a solicitation notice published Friday.The contract vehicle has the Personnel and Readiness and Major Department of Defense Systems pools and three seed task order projects: two for the P&R Pool and one for the MDODS pool.One of the P&R task orders seeks to supply technical analysis support personnel for office functions within OUSD-P&R. The other one intends to support a range of task requirements associated with the development, deployment, sustainment and operations of the DEAMS application, or the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System.The seed task order project for the MDODS pool covers sustainment and operations support for DRSS or Defense Readiness Reporting System.For individual task orders including option terms, the maximum dollar amount is $400 million.The PRISM contract has a one-year base period and four option years and will require the awardee to perform several tasks, such as providing contract program management, engineering and information security, offering logistics, procurement and life cycle services and developing and delivering training.Questions regarding the solicitation should be submitted no later than Feb. 14.GSA has set a March 6 deadline for proposals.
