A joint venture between Stantec and AECOM‘s (NYSE: ACM) Pacific subsidiary has received a five-year, $99 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy to provide architect-engineer services for environmental planning services.
Stantec GS-AECOM Pacific JV will help research, prepare, update and review the Navy and Marine Corps’ environmental documents under the National Environmental Policy Act, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Work will primarily occur within Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command’s Pacific area of operations through January 2029.
Eighty percent of work will take place in Hawaii and the rest in Guam and other locations worldwide.
NAVFAC Pacific received three bids for the firm-fixed-price contract and will obligate funds in the Navy’s fiscal 2024 operation and maintenance allocation.
