The U.S. Army awarded five companies positions on a potential five-year, $464 million contract to support its environmental remediation activities.
AECOM (NYSE: ACM), Arcadis, Parsons (NYSE: PSN), Tetra Tech (Nasdaq: TTEK) and the joint venture Cape-CDM Smith were selected out of seven bids received through an online solicitation by the service branch, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The firm-fixed-price environmental remediation services contract is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2029. The Army will determine the funding and work locations based on individual task orders.
The contracting activity is the Army Field Directorate Office in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
In November 2023, the Army also tapped nine contractors to provide services as part of a $245 million contract for environmental remediation support.
