Kyrus Tech Books $200M DTRA Contract to Support Counter WMD Efforts

Kyrus Tech has secured a potential 10-year, $200 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help the Defense Threat Reduction Agency carry out research, development, test and evaluation activities to counter proliferation and weapons of mass destruction.The sole-source contract has a five-year base ordering period along with five option years and is expected to conclude by Jan. 21, 2034, the Department of Defense said Monday.Work will occur in Sterling, Virginia, and Centennial, Colorado.DTRA is obligating $2 million in fiscal 2024 RDT&E funds under the first task order at the time of award.Sterling, Virginia-headquartered Kyrus Tech offers support to government and commercial customers in areas such as data science, software development and applied research and development.The Potomac Officers Club will host the 10th Annual Defense R&D Summit on Jan. 31 to discuss the latest developments in the defense technology sector.
