Robert Hicks, a former senior business development executive for the health sector at Peraton, has been named vice president of federal health at digital modernization company Oddball, according to a recently published LinkedIn post.He has over two decades of experience overseeing business development efforts for small and large enterprises and working with federal health clients, including the Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institutes of Health.Hicks previously held senior business development roles at Perspecta, which now operates as part of Peraton, and Leidos (NYSE: LDOS).His industry career also includes time as a program and product director at Apprio and a senior project and task manager at General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business unit.Oddball is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that supports digital modernization of federal citizen-centric services. In March 2021, it was among the companies that won spots on a potential $247.3 million contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs for commercial application development and information technology services.
