For half a decade, chief information officers in both government and the private sector have played an increasingly important role as organizations work to digitally transform. To ensure the government contracting community stays abreast of these changes, Potomac Officers Club has annually convened the CIO Summit along the same timeline.
The much-anticipated event returns for its fifth iteration on Wednesday, April 17. Mark your calendars and register now — it’s sure to be a fascinating day of informative sessions about the priorities of federal CIOs and how industry can best respond and collaborate.
This year’s conference will feature Leslie Beavers, principal deputy chief information officer of the Department of Defense, as its opening keynote speaker. Beavers has diverse experience across the healthcare, oil and gas and entertainment industries and began her position early last year. She is a three-decade U.S. Air Force veteran and prior to her current role, served as director of enterprise capabilities in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security.
At the all-day, blow-out event — a highlight of many GovCon executives’ networking years — Beavers will be joined by a roster of five other essential keynote speakers, yet to be announced. The day will also include six panel sessions that hone in on specific topics within the jurisdiction of CIOs.
The extremely valued supporters of the event are lead platinum sponsor Cloudera; platinum sponsors Guidehouse, Rancher Government Solutions, Acuity, Oracle Cloud; and gold sponsor Digital Science.
