Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has received a five-year, $375 million contract from the U.S. Navy to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic in the fielding and integration of land-based vehicle platforms across various defense services.
The company said Tuesday it will perform production engineering, integration, installation, logistical and programmatic support to integrate command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities on the vehicles.
“Fielding tactical vehicles that have C4ISR components properly installed is critical to the success of the warfighter,” underscored Barbara Supplee, senior vice president of the Navy business group at SAIC.
She added that the SAIC team is honored to help NIWC Atlantic in its mission.
