NASA’s Johnson Space Center has started soliciting proposals for the fourth iteration of a contract to acquire services to perform analytical and physical processing activities in support of cargo requirements.
The agency plans to conduct a full and open competition for Cargo Mission Contract 4, which will include engineering, maintenance and operations support for flight crew equipment and other hardware and support for the International Space Station and Artemis Exploration Programs, according to a solicitation notice published Thursday.
In late November, NASA issued a presolicitation notice announcing its plans to release a request for proposals for CMC4.
CMC4 has a potential performance period of seven years and will also cover the development of new hardware and modification and recertification of existing hardware and support for data integration activities associated with software applications.
The contract is anticipated to be awarded on June 26, 2024, with an effective date of Oct. 1, 2024.
NASA plans to hold a pre-proposal conference on Dec. 19 and accept questions regarding the solicitation through Jan. 5.
Proposals are due no later than Jan. 23.
