DOD Planning Potential $1B Multiple-Award Contract for Technical, Professional Support Services Requirement

The Department of Defense Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate is working to determine the availability of businesses interested in or are capable of providing technical, administrative and professional support services to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security.

The purpose of the market research effort is to help determine the acquisition strategy for a potential multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that may be awarded by September 2024, according to a sources sought notice posted Thursday on SAM.gov.

The envisioned contract will feature a six-month base period and four 12-month option periods and will cover, among other things, information technology support, professional services, consulting services and administrative support. Work will be carried out at multiple locations within the National Capital Region, including the Pentagon.

The acquisition’s estimated value will range from $800 million to $1 billion.

Interested parties have until Jan. 11 to submit capability statements in response to the notice.
