Leidos Secures $700M NSA Tech Development Support Contract; Roy Stevens Quoted

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will provide technology and prototype development support services for the National Security Agency under a potential $700 million contract.

The company said Wednesday it will support the analyst community by providing subject matter expertise to help NSA build and maintain technology, techniques and tools under the single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Leidos will also demonstrate key features, forecast use of emerging technologies, characterize performance in the conceptual and demonstration phase and qualify processes and products to help mitigate technical risks and validate requirements in support of the agency’s mission requirements.

Roy Stevens, president of the intelligence group at Leidos and a 2023 Wash100 winner, said the company and its experts will work to build new tools and techniques and identify emerging technologies in support of the Intelligence Community.

“We look forward to supporting the NSA’s intelligence and cyber missions that protect and defend our country,” Stevens added.
