Bindi Patel, a more than two-decade consulting industry veteran, has been appointed vice president of contracts and procurement and corporate risk officer at Springfield, Virginia-based defense and space manufacturing company Ensco.
She brings to the her expertise and experience in contract negotiation, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, compliance, operations management and global supply chain, the company said Monday.
Jeff Stevens, president of Ensco, said Patel’s passion and knowledge of procurement, contracts and risk management align with the company’s vision, mission and long-term growth strategy.
Patel had a more than 13-year career at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), culminating in her role as principal/director for enterprise risk and resilience.
Her industry career included time at Raytheon, ExxonMobil (NYSE: XOM) and Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG).
