Beacon Global Strategies has appointed intelligence and defense industry veterans Andrew Boyd, Seth Jones and Elizabeth Sizeland as senior advisers and named Leyla Becker, formerly director of human resources at Tripoint Solutions, as chief human resources officer.
Boyd, a former senior intelligence service officer in the CIA’s Directorate of Operations, will bring his expertise in cyberthreat intelligence, counterterrorism, counterintelligence and strategic analysis to guide and support BGS’ intelligence practice, the company said Thursday.
Meanwhile, Jones, who serves as senior vice president and director of the international security program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, will provide advice and strategic insight to the BGS practice focused on the defense sector.
Sizeland, a nonresident senior fellow at the Scowcroft Strategy Initiative of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, will utilize her over 20 years of national security experience in the U.K. government to support the company’s global technology policy practice.
“Their distinguished careers in intelligence and defense will undoubtedly enhance our capabilities, reinforcing our commitment to delivering unparalleled strategic advisory services to our clients,” said Jeremy Bash, a managing director at BGS.
Meanwhile, Becker will oversee BGS’ overall HR functions and help drive the company’s multi-year workforce development strategy.
