There are extra rules and regulations by which government contracting organizations have to abide, such as the Cost Accounting Standards or the many expectations set by the Federal Acquisition Regulation. All of the event’s participants have broad, often cross-industry experience in the auditing and finance fields. Benningfield and Moslak are career government and military servants, with Moslak having reportedly dedicated years to making the DOD primed for accessible auditing. Baker spent time at Deloitte and BearingPoint, gaining a well-rounded perspective in addition to his considerable military bonafides.
