Cybersecurity company Summit 7 has acquired CSW Systems for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to expand the delivery of compliance support and managed information technology services to classified data processing facilities and initiatives across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.
Founded in 2011, CSW Systems has offices in Washington, D.C., and Denver Metro areas and is focused on delivering cybersecurity platforms and other critical IT services to IC customers handling classified and sensitive information, Summit 7 said Wednesday.
Summit 7 CEO Scott Edwards said CSW Systems brings to the company its experience in delivering security and compliance-focused services and will be key as the two entities work together to support customers across the DOD and IC ecosystem.
Huntsville, Alabama-based Summit 7 has been providing cybersecurity and compliance services for the defense industrial base since 2008. The company helps organizations comply with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement and other government requirements by leveraging its expertise in Microsoft Cloud offerings.
