The U.S. Air Force has announced its intent to increase the potential maximum value of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that provides information technology products and support services for Strategic Command.
A notice posted Tuesday on SAM.gov states that the Air Force plans to increase the Information Technology Capabilities Contract II ceiling by $503 million– from $887 million to $1.39 billion– to enhance the command’s IT infrastructure supporting its global operations.
According to the Air Force, the ceiling increase will address challenges caused by design and construction delays, weather delays, mission capability adjustments and global supply chain disruptions.
Peraton is the incumbent contractor for the five-year, ITCC II vehicle awarded in June 2021 to help the command build mission-critical systems and applications at Offutt AF Base in Nebraska.
Work on the IDIQ is scheduled to occur through June 30, 2026.
STRATCOM coordinates with other combatant commands, services and government agencies to conduct global strike operations to deter strategic attacks against the U.S. and its allies.
