Navy Awards 9 Companies Positions on $600M NAVFAC Construction, Repair Contract

Nine companies won spots on a combined $600 million contract from the U.S. Navy to perform new construction as well as renovation and repair of military facilities under the jurisdiction of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command – Marianas.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, design-build construction award includes renovation of the Federal Emergency Management Agency warehouse in Barrigada, Guam, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Techni-Con landed the FEMA work, which is expected to be done by March 2026 and could be worth $17 million if options are exercised.

The rest of the projects are slated for completion by September 2028, with option periods extending until September 2031. 

At the time of the award, $16 million in disaster relief, homeland security and FEMA funds were obligated. The remainder of the budget will be made available as individual task orders are carried out.
