Kris Chester Promoted to Chief Technology Officer at WTI

Kris Chester was elevated to the role of chief technology officer at WTI, a Fairfax, Virginia-based information technology services provider that caters to the U.S. service branches, defense and civilian agencies and other government organizations, according to his LinkedIn post.

The executive most recently served as WTI’s enterprise architect, supporting intelligence data and innovation senior government officials in aligning their enterprise to meet goals. He worked with the company’s U.S. Air Force and Air Combat Command customers.

Chester’s career also includes time serving as enterprise architect and program manager for Special Operations Command and intelligence community clients at Verizon, technical account manager at BAE Systems and technology solutions and strategies consultant at DevCar.

Prior to transitioning to the industry, Chester was with the Department of Defense for over two decades. He held a number of posts such as assistant director and expert analyst at the Pentagon during his time there.

WTI offers Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Management, Application Development, and Analytics to help customers handle, secure and transform their data use. It has spots on several government contracts, including the OASIS and SITE III vehicles.
