National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Director Vice Admiral Frank Whitworth was presented with his 2023 Wash100 Award on stage after his keynote speech at the Potomac Officers Club’s 9th Annual Intel Summit in McLean, Virginia.
In his address, VADM Whitworth spoke about major shifts in what he calls a “reluctant revolution in military affairs,” and he explained how the NGA is harnessing the power of digital twins, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies for intelligence missions.
After his speech, Executive Mosaic CEO and Wash100 Award Founder Jim Garrettson joined VADM Whitworth on stage to deliver the prestigious accolade.
The Wash100 Award annually recognizes the top 100 executives of consequence working in the government and government contracting sectors. The award is bestowed upon senior executives who demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, vision and impact across the federal landscape.
VADM Whitworth was selected as a 2023 Wash100 Award recipient for his work advancing the country’s geospatial intelligence objectives, enhancing operational readiness and strengthening partnerships with industry and allied nations. This marks Whitworth’s second consecutive Wash100 recognition.
