On October 24, Potomac Officers Club will host the next in its series of riveting, topical government contracting events: the Achieving Transformative Cooperation for National Defense Forum. Registration is now open, with only limited seats available.
This extremely relevant morning (7 a.m. – 10 a.m.) event is brought to you in collaboration with the dynamite team at Ultra Intelligence and Communications. It will take a close look at the potential for Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control, or CJADC2, to impact the global defense landscape. CJADC2 is the Department of Defense’s strategy for unifying communications across any plane where a warfighter might be stationed, in peacetime or in conflict.
At the Achieving Transformative Cooperation for National Defense Forum, civilian and military officials alike will assemble to deliver audience members exclusive insights about how industry can help accelerate and enable the DOD’s vision of an interoperable defense ecosystem.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Rhys Williams, executive director of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Dr. Williams is an expert in technology’s utility in national security and has held major roles at the DOD’s Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering and the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration. He is also a level 3 acquisition professional and has received a Presidential Rank Award.
The forum will take place at 2941 Restaurant, a scenic and delicious spot nestled in Falls Church, Virginia. Breakfast and refreshments will be served, and Dr. Williams’ opening remarks will be followed by a panel discussion.
