Markon has officially separated from its parent company Anser Advisory to focus on pursuing management consulting and professional support opportunities in the federal market.
Ray Carney transitioned to the CEO position at Markon from his prior chief delivery officer role and will work closely with a new leadership team to help public sector customers address mission requirements, Markon said Friday.
The spinout was completed after Accenture (NYSE: ACN) wrapped up the acquisition of Anser Advisory.
Markon promoted Krissy Goff, former vice president of operations, to chief operating officer and appointed Drew Thompson, former chief growth officer, as chief corporate development officer responsible for overseeing mergers and acquisitions strategy.
Matt Slingwine, who led the company’s intelligence community portfolio, will serve as chief delivery officer for the defense business unit and Dave Morrison, former market lead for the national market portfolio, will be chief delivery officer for the civilian business.
