Versar, an engineering, security and environmental services provider, has acquired Louis Berger Services from Canada-based WSP Global for an undisclosed sum.
LBS has approximately 1,400 employees and provides contingency logistics, aerial port operations, transportation asset maintenance, ground support and other operations and maintenance services for infrastructure assets at defense and civilian facilities globally, WSP said Monday.
WPS purchased LBS through its acquisition of international professional services firm Louis Berger in 2018.
“Our complementary service offerings will allow us to leverage each otherâs customers and capabilities to grow our business to compete globally while maintaining our exceptional dedication to one-on-one customer service,” said Versar CEO Jim Jaska.
Washington, D.C.-based Versar is a portfolio company of Kingswood Capital Management and operates with three operating segments: national security; environment and sustainability; and installation management and support services.
