Eleven companies have won spots on a $750 million multiple-award contract to provide small-caliber ammunition products to the U.S. Special Operations Command.
SOCOM received 16 proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a full and open competition, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The awardees are:

- Black Hills Ammunition
- Capstone Precision Group
- Eagle Eye Precision Ammunition
- General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) ordnance and tactical systems unit
- OCR Global
- PCP Tactical
- Sig Sauer
- UDC
- Ultimate Training Munitions
- Vista Outdoor Sales
According to solicitation documents, the command would obtain small and large quantities of commercial off-the-shelf ammo, modified COTS and munitions manufactured to a government-owned technical data package.
