Doug Wyatt, former program manager and director for Kennedy Space Center Laboratory Support Services and Operations at Amentum, has taken on a new role as the company’s chief advisory scientist for energy and space science and technology.
In a LinkedIn post published Tuesday, Wyatt said that he will work with federal clients to help them develop clean energy sources and continue to support NASA’s operational and research and development initiatives.
He started his career at Transatlantic Petroleum in 1982 as a geologist and held the same role at Eastern Natural Gas three years later.
His four-decade industry experience also included various positions at URS, Halliburton and AECOM.
Wyatt taught geology at Augusta University from 2016 to 2019.
