The U.S. Navy has awarded American Electronics Warfare Associates an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract worth $248.2 million to perform battlespace simulation research and development work.
AMEWAS will create tools, models and products for the integrated battlespace simulation and test department under the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, the Defense Department said Friday.
One offer was submitted to NAWCAD for the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a small business set-aside competition.
Contract work will occur in Patuxent River, Maryland, with an expected completion date of May 2028.
