USACE Posts Presolicitation Notice for Multiple-Award DHS Construction Contract

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District has released details of a potential $1.5 billion multiple-award task order contract vehicle for construction and design-build services in support of the Department of Homeland Security.

A notice posted Wednesday on SAM.gov stated that USACE plans to award up to five indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts with an ordering period of seven years to build and repair border patrol stations, highway checkpoints, detention centers, training and vehicle maintenance facilities.

The maximum price limit for each order is $150 million, according to the notice.

USACE will conduct a full and open competition with a two-phase design-build selection process to select and evaluate proposals for the vertical construction MATOC.

The agency plans to hold a virtual preproposal conference following the release of the phase one solicitation notice.
