Tom Edson, a financial manager and strategist, has joined Alpha Omega Integration as chief financial officer.
He brings to the role over 15 years of experience in financial management within the technology and cybersecurity sectors and will manage finance, contracts and pricing in support of Alpha Omega’s growth initiatives, the company said Tuesday.
Alpha Omega CEO Gautam Ijoor said Edson brings to the company his financial management and digital transformation experience and will be key as he works with financial teams in screening and pursuing more acquisitions in support of Alpha Omega’s growth objectives and mission.
Edson, a certified Project Management Professional, simultaneously served as principal of Capgemini Government Solutions and CFO of information technology company VariQ during the merger.
He spent 13 years at VariQ as CFO and chief operating officer. Prior to VariQ, he was a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“As CFO, my mission will be to shape corporate strategy through financial governance, build infrastructure for further growth, and ensure financial governance and compliance,” said Edson.
Vienna, Virginia-based Alpha Omega provides DevSecOps and cloud engineering, intelligent automation, and cybersecurity and design and product management support to government agency customers.
