An Amentum subsidiary will maintain the U.S. Navy’s F-5 light fighter aircraft at the organizational, intermediate and depot levels under a $100 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
PAE Aviation and Technical Services will also perform logistics support work and is expected to complete services in March 2024, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The Navy and Marine Corps use the F-5 twin-engine jet to facilitate simulated air-to-air combat training, according to Naval Air Systems Command.
Contract services will take place in Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada and South Carolina.
